The Schagerl Heavy Brass Screw for saxophone (#2) is a sound-tuning tool designed for Yamaha, Schagerl Superior, and Keilwerth models. Created in collaboration with Markus "Max-the-Sax" Ecklmayr, this elegant screw, made from high-quality brass and weighing 14.5 grams, was introduced with a new design in 2022. Mounted on the saxophone s neck, the increased weight alters the instrument s resonance, resulting in a more direct response, a fuller sound, and smoother tone articulation. Developed and made in Austria by Schagerl Music, this tool helps musicians refine their sound.
