The Heavy Brass Neck Screws by Schagerl are a sound-tuning tool specifically designed for Schagerl Mod. 66 saxophones. In collaboration with Markus a.k.a. "Max-the-Sax" Ecklmayr, we created an elegant screw made of high-quality yellow brass, which replaces the standard neck screws on the saxophone. Due to the increased weight of the screw, the instrument’s vibrations change, resulting in a more focused, warmer sound and a more comfortable playing experience. Weighing 11g, this screw enhances response and supports a more enjoyable playing feel.
