Product details
Key Leaves key wedges for soprano saxophones are a practical and gentle solution for keeping saxophone keys open after playing and allowing the instrument to dry effectively. They are made of soft silicone and are simply inserted between the keys without damaging the surface or the mechanism. Keeping the keys open allows moisture to dissipate more quickly, which significantly reduces the sticking of the pads on the C#, G# and D#/Eb keys. Key Leaves thus contribute to a longer pad life and support the reliable functioning of the instrument. They are specially designed for the soprano saxophone.
GEWA music, founded by Georg Walther in Adorf in the Vogtland region in 1925, initially focused on the construction and sale of handcrafted musical instruments and cases. Following the occupation of the Vogtland region after World War II, Walther relocated the company to Mittenwald, Bavaria, along with 20 of its top employees. Thanks to its central location in Europe and the renowned reputation of the region for instrument making, GEWA quickly resumed its old business model and achieved economic success once again.
