The Schagerl Heavy Brass Screw for saxophone (#2) is a sound-tuning tool designed for Yamaha, Schagerl Superior, and Keilwerth models. Developed in collaboration with Markus "Max-the-Sax" Ecklmayr, this elegant screw is made of brass and weighs 11g. Introduced with a new design in 2022, it is mounted on the saxophone’s neck. Due to the increased weight, the screw alters the instrument s resonance, resulting in a more direct response, a fuller sound, and smoother tone articulation. Made in Austria by Schagerl Music, it helps musicians refine their sound.
