Product details
The Venus B-flat tenor horn TH-200 is a reliable companion for wind ensembles, music schools, and everyday rehearsals. The brass body produces a warm, resonant tone that blends harmoniously with the rest of the section while still offering enough projection for melodic passages. The mouthpipe, made of gold brass—an alloy with a higher copper content—is particularly corrosion-resistant and promotes a smooth response. The outer slides, made of nickel silver, are robust and resistant to wear. Three cylinder valves, also known as rotary valves, enable clean transitions and a smooth playing experience. The valve mechanism with ball joints operates precisely and quietly, ensuring that the valves respond directly to every touch of the finger. The package includes a lightweight molded case with a backpack strap, which makes traveling to rehearsals or performances noticeably easier. A solid instrument for anyone who wants to enjoy getting started with the tenor horn or is looking for a reliable second instrument.
