Product details
The TÁTU Straight No. 2 is a trumpet mute that gives the sound a direct, focused character. It is specially tuned for Perinet trumpets. Its sophisticated geometry ensures that the muted sound still projects and cuts through well in an ensemble. At the same time, intonation remains precise across all registers, and no adjustment is needed even in the high register. The response is very quick and the articulation clear, ideal for rhythmic passages and incisive interjections. Even with changing dynamics—from a soft solo to a powerful tutti—the mute can be played easily and with control. The right choice for anyone who wants to give their solo a distinctive, crisp tone.

Manufacturer: Tàtu
The Tatu trumpet mutes offer a versatile range for practice, jazz, stage, or studio use. From quiet practice mutes to straight and cup models, each provides controlled sound attenuation while maintaining intonation. Durable, compact, and ready to use perfect for musicians seeking flexible tone and volume control.
