Product details
At Schagerl, the quality of the instruments is of the utmost importance. In close collaboration with Prof. Hans Gansch (former professor at the Mozarteum Salzburg), the outstanding B-trumpet model "HANS GANSCH" was created. This innovation represents a comprehensive redevelopment at the cutting edge of technology, manufactured in Schagerl s most modern high-tech master workshops. Thanks to the advanced technology of 3 CNC machines, which enable both milling and turning work, Schagerl ensures a fully integrated production of the trumpets. Every component, from the bell to the leadpipe, bears the "made by Schagerl" seal. The latest models exclusively incorporate the innovative valve blocks developed and manufactured by Schagerl itself, highlighting the uniqueness and quality promises of Schagerl. With this concept, Schagerl remains true to their motto: "In Quality we trust."

The 1990s marked a turning point when the collaboration with the renowned Professor Hans Gansch began, leading to the development of the exclusive rotary valve trumpet line. After intensive research and testing phases, Schagerl presented the first professional C rotary valve trumpet, the Classic Line model. With Robert Schagerl as the master craftsman and the expertise of Hans Gansch, this instrument was produced in a limited edition until the year 2000. In 2001, on the 40th anniversary of the company, this model experienced significant further development, leading to the birth of the VIENNA model W-2001 . In 2006, this model was updated under the name Vienna with detailed improvements. Another breakthrough in rotary valve trumpet manufacturing occurred in 2010 with the transition of the entire series to a state-of-the-art CNC-manufactured, completely in-house precision valve block. On the occasion of our 60th company anniversary in 2021, the existing Vienna model was completely revised in close cooperation with Matthias Kernstock, the principal trumpeter of the Vienna Symphony, further improving the proven sound concept of Schagerl instruments.

Statement
Hans Gansch (former principal trumpet of the Vienna Philharmonic and former professor at the Mozarteum Salzburg)
“The model is full-bodied, powerful, yet very flexible and melodic to play. I love the secure playing feel and well-defined resistance while playing. It is a trumpet for 'strong types', perfectly suitable for professionals and those who aspire to be. If the model sounds too dark, you can also choose the model with a slightly more normal bell size (130 mm). I personally play the heaviest model (137 mm) because I always prefer trumpets with good resistance.”
