The Manuel Rodríguez ACADEMIA Exótica Santos Pavo Real is a 4/4 concert guitar with a 650 mm scale length and 52 mm nut width. It combines a solid Canadian cedar top with impressively grained Santos rosewood for the back and sides. The mahogany neck, ovangkol fingerboard, and 6-hole ovangkol bridge offer a comfortable, direct playing feel.

Typically Spanish: a genuine Spanish neck heel and a Santos headstock overlay. Vintage bone saddle and bridge insert with compensation ensure precise intonation. Gold-plated tuners with black buttons, a wooden soundhole mosaic, and a mahogany inlay round off the design. The GEWA armrest further enhances playing comfort.

The model is strung with Hannabach 815HTC Silver Special strings with carbon trebles (high tension). The water-based ECO satin finish protects the guitar and gives it a natural look.

GEWA music, founded by Georg Walther in Adorf in the Vogtland region in 1925, initially focused on the construction and sale of handcrafted musical instruments and cases. Following the occupation of the Vogtland region after World War II, Walther relocated the company to Mittenwald, Bavaria, along with 20 of its top employees. Thanks to its central location in Europe and the renowned reputation of the region for instrument making, GEWA quickly resumed its old business model and achieved economic success once again.
