The SPS system used in GEWA gig bags is a fibreglass insert incorporated into the bag that protects the instrument all around. In addition to the 20 mm high-density foam lining, SPS guarantees optimum protection of the instrument against impacts and other external influences.

GEWA music, founded by Georg Walther in Adorf in the Vogtland region in 1925, initially focused on the construction and sale of handcrafted musical instruments and cases.
