The GEWA STUDENT series offers an outstanding introduction to the world of acoustic guitars at an excellent price-performance ratio. Experienced luthiers developed the series in Germany and perfectly matched factors such as neck profile and string action to ensure optimum playability. The lightweight and well-balanced guitars have a neck made of okoume wood, which is additionally stabilized by an integrated carbon fibre reinforcement.

GEWA music, founded by Georg Walther in Adorf in the Vogtland region in 1925, initially focused on the construction and sale of handcrafted musical instruments and cases. Following the occupation of the Vogtland region after World War II, Walther relocated the company to Mittenwald, Bavaria, along with 20 of its top employees.
