The special construction reveals itself as you fit and position it: finely finished inner edges ensure an exact fit and make stable contact with the outer edges of the reed. This secures the reed firmly without creating unwanted pressure points. Full vibrational freedom is preserved, resulting in a fast response and even sound production across all registers.
