Trumpet development with the solo trumpeters of the Berliner Philharmoniker
Collaboration with the solo trumpeters of the Berliner Philharmoniker
Immediately after the end of their US tour, the solo trumpeters of the Berliner Philharmoniker, Guillaume Jehl and David Guerrier, visited us to work together with master trumpeter Robert Schagerl and his team. Their goal? To put their joint ideas into practice and drive forward the further development of our rotary and perinet trumpets.
Guillaume, David and David's predecessor at the Philharmoniker, Gabor Tarkövi, were strongly influenced by their common teacher, Prof Hans Gansch. Prof Gansch worked closely with us from the mid-1990s onwards, and with his support we created models that enjoyed great success worldwide. At Schagerl, working with artists is both a great pleasure and a source of motivation.
From Prof Hans Gansch, who led the development of our entire rotary valve trumpet series, to Gabor Tarkövi and the Berlin series, to Matthias Kernstock and the new Vienna Heavy - our artists are essential to the success, quality and consistency of our instruments.
We are very much looking forward to the future collaboration with David and Guillaume and to the new models that will emerge from it. Schagerl Music GmbH ‘In Quality We Trust’
