Yamaha s Professional Series tenor trombones have long been popular thanks to their fast and agile response, extremely accurate intonation and warm sound. The new Professional series retains all these good qualities and adds some of the design features of our first-class Xeno trombones. Their broad sound has a well-defined core for excellent projection in every register and dynamic range. The series offers two different bore sizes to suit different requirements: The 640 has a medium bore for versatility in all musical genres and a two-piece, hand-hammered bell for easy response. The tight slide and medium weight ensure exceptionally flexible playing.
