The Teach.Air breathing device is an innovative training device for all wind musicians - from beginners to professionals. It supports the natural flow of air and reflex breathing and thus facilitates a variety of aspects of instrumental playing directly, effectively and intuitively. Developed by musicians for musicians, it makes the air flow audible and perceptible when playing, thus creating an intensive awareness of sound design, articulation and breathing technique. The Teach.Air specifically improves stamina, effectiveness and sound control, removes blockages and opens up the throat. In my teaching career, I have had the pleasure of observing many final teaching examinations. Often half the time was spent playing exciting and funny breathing games. However, young students in particular were rarely able to transfer this to the instrument.
My desire to change this was followed by a 3-year development phase together with my pupil at the time, Markus Kuen.
Fortunately, the result was that the TEACH.AIR works not only for beginners, but for musicians of all levels. And not just for trumpet, but also for French horn, trombone, clarinet, ...
