GEWA music, founded by Georg Walther in Adorf in the Vogtland region in 1925, initially focused on the construction and sale of handcrafted musical instruments and cases. Thanks to its central location in Europe and the renowned reputation of the region for instrument making, GEWA quickly resumed its old business model and achieved economic success once again.
