The MEINL VivaRhythm® caiXoN has the advantage of bringing the playing surface closer to the player. This allows for a comfortable, upright sitting position. The caiXoN also delivers the traditional sound of the snare cajon, with deep bass tones and integrated snare wires for penetrating snare strikes. The resonating body, measuring 29.5 cm x 66.5 cm x 30.5 cm (W x H x D), is made from Baltic birch (Betula pendula), whilst the playing surface is made from Onyx strips. The forward-facing sound projection ensures that the bass tones develop well. This cajon is ideal for players who prefer to sit upright.
