The Chicago Stinger Gen II+ was developed in collaboration with Kenny Rampton of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and was inspired by the buzz mutes of yesteryear. The Chicago Stinger provides a more consistent buzz across the entire range of the trumpet, blows more freely and has better intonation than any other buzz mute.

Vortex Corking System™
This system dampens and directs the undamped trumpet sound through two angled passages, creating more buzz and minimising back pressure.
Venturi Pressure Diffusion Disk™
This structural element inside the mute improves intonation and playability.
Thunderbolt Vented Caplets™
They protect the resonators from damage in your bag/case while transferring maximum buzz to your sound.
Sturdy wall construction and high-quality materials provide superior tonal and structural integrity.
Designed for the KR Indigo series of plunger mutes - can be played alone or under the KR Indigo or KR Indigo MAX plungers, which are sold separately.
