In 1995, Johann Cebulla began to increase his practice regimen and subsequently experienced numbness in the neck area. Inspired by a yoga seminar, he developed the Cebulla Sax Strap to reduce neck tension while playing the saxophone. Since its introduction in 1996, he has produced and continuously improved over 30,000 straps.
