ANNIVERSARY - GANSCHHORNCHALLENGE - 20 YEARS OF GANSCHHORN 2002 - 2022
In 2002, our Schagerl Ganschhorn was born out of Thomas Gansch's wish! It was important to Thomas that the trumpet could be operated perfectly with one hand and had the advantages of a rotary valve trumpet in terms of playability and sound.
On the occasion of this 20th anniversary and our 60th company anniversary, the Ganschhorn was given an update and together with Thomas Gansch we launched the GANSCHHORN CHALLENGE.
Anyone under the age of 18 could send in their musical contribution and be in with a chance of winning the main prize, a SCHAGERL Ganschhorn anniversary model.
Over 140 participants picked up their instruments and sent us and Thomas some great videos.
Thomas standardised the 10 best, greatest and most impressive entries from all the submissions.
The winner of the Ganschhornchallenge is Mihran Araqelyan! For Thomas Gansch the best contribution!

The two prize winners Moritz Nowotny (2nd place) and Lukas Milchram (8th place) collected their prize in person from our company. On this occasion, they were able to visit our company and test all our models.
