About the Artist

Bachelor of the National University of Music of Lima, Peru. Principal Trumpet of the Youth Symphony Orchestra for Peru with which he has made tours such as the “Tour Sinfonía” 2024, performing at the Royal Theater of Madrid, Palau de la Música de Barcelona, Wiener Konzerthaus, Victoria Hall of Geneva and Philharmonie of Paris; as well as the “Tour Europa 2022”, where they were presented in 3 of the most important classical music festivals such as: Salzburg Festival, Gstaad Menuhin Festival and Lucerne Festival. In 2022 he was selected to participate in "Encuentros", an initiative by maestro Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic that brings together young musicians from 22 countries held in Los Angeles. He has been the winner of the First Place in the Latin American AMEB 2021 Contest and the National Virtual Chávez Trumpet Contest N. 2020. He has participated in international festivals such as the Festival "Resonante Iberacademy 2023: Art and Entrepreneurship" in Medellín, Colombia 2023, Santa Catarina Music Festival - Brazil in 2018 and 2020, Summer Camp of the Lucerne Festival (Switzerland) and Orchestra Connect Salzburg (Austria) in August 2019. He was a member of the Anta Peru Metal Quintet, with which they recorded the Second Album of Peruvian music for brass quintet entitled "Memorias". As a soloist he has performed with casts such as Trujillo Symphony Orchestra, Youth Symphony Orchestra for Peru, Symphony Orchestra and Trumpet Assembly of the National University of Music. As an orchestra musician, he participates as a complementary musician in the National Symphony Orchestra of Peru, and has been part of: Children's Symphony Orchestra of Peru, Edgard Valcárcel Youth Symphony Orchestra, Youth Symphony Orchestra of Peru, British Symphony Orchestra, among others. He has received master classes from renowned trumpeters such as: Tomas Hooten (USA), Marc Geujon (France), Fábio Brum, Flávio Gabriel, Paulo Viveiro (Brazil), Rubén Simeó (Spain), Pacho Flores, Gaudy Sanchez (Venezuela), Alejandro López (Peru), Reinhold Friedrich (Germany), among others. He currently works as a trumpeter of the Callao Regional Symphony Orchestra and member of the Aurum Brass Quintet.
