About the Artist

Marc Osterer began playing trumpet at age 5 in his hometown of New York City, where he received an education in jazz, classical, and commercial styles in prestigious conservatories including Manhattan School of Music. As a professional musician he has performed on Broadway shows, jazz clubs such as Birdland and Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Mexico City Philharmonic (where he spent 5 years as Principal Trumpet), Coachella, and the Salzburg Festival. Also well-versed in composition, orchestration, and studio production, he recorded his first solo jazz album in 2014. A vibrant on-stage entertainer, Marc often tours worldwide with the electro-swing producer Parov Stelar. Based in Vienna, Austria, he spends most of his time as principal/lead trumpet of the Synchron Stage Orchestra where he records on television and film soundtracks for Marvel, Sony, HBO, BBC, among others.
