Luis Alfredo Sánchez is a Venezuelan trumpet player with extensive orchestral experience. He has been selected to participate in seminars and international tours across America, Europe and Asia, performing under the baton of the likes of Claudio Abbado, Sir. Simon Rattle, Gustavo Dudamel, Paolo Bortolameolli, Juliem Salemkour, Rodolfo Saglimbeni, Eduardo Strausser, and Christophe Talmont, among other renowned conductors.
Throughout his career, he has received instruction from respected trumpet players such as Walter Pinto, Alexander Barrios, Jairo Hernandez, Alla Cox, Michael Tunnell, Marc Reese, Vladimir Kafelnikov, Carlos Beneto, Juanjo Serna, Rolf Smedvig, Erick Aubier, Gabor Tarkovi and Winton Marsalis.
He also performs as concertino in the Venezuelan Brass Ensemble, conducted by the maestro and musical ambassador Thomas Clamor, with whom he has participated in major international tours and the recording of two musical productions.
