Emircan BİRGÜL was born in 1995. He started his trombone education at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory in 2006. In 2010, he was selected to the Dogus Children's Symphony Orchestra as part of Dogus Group's social responsibility project. In the same year, he joined the Presidential Symphony Orchestra as the youngest reinforcement artist. In 2012, he joined the Ankara Youth Symphony Orchestra and took part in various concerts.
He actively participated in masterclasses with Joseph Alessi (2015) and Christian Lindberg (2016) at Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts.
Within the scope of the "Schagerl Brass Academy" project organized by Schagerl Meisterinstrumente in Vienna, he participated in master classes with Otmar Gaiswinkler in 2016 and Jesper Busk Sørensen in 2017.
He worked with Armin Bachmann in the master class organized under the name of "Ankara Copper Instruments Week" and held in Ankara (2017).
He also performed J. Koetsier's 4 Trombone Concertino with Cem Güngör, Ozan Çelikel and Deniz Dişdiş with Orkestra Akademik Başkent. He performed the L. Grøndahl trombone concerto as a soloist with the Hacettepe University Symphony Orchestra conducted by Artun Hoinic (2017).
Emircan BİRGÜL successfully completed his trombone education at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory with Bedi Durham in 2017 and graduated as a "High Honor Student".
In 2018, he started his master's degree at Eskişehir Anadolu University State Conservatory with Peter Körner and started working as a trombonist at Ankara State Opera and Ballet Orchestra in the same year.
In November 2018, he worked with Jamie Williams in Rostock as part of the "Deutsch Türkische Jugendbrücke" project. In December of the same year, he participated in the "Leatzsch Trombone Festival", where he actively worked with world-renowned trombone artists such as Mayumi Shimizu, Harrie De Lange, Dirk Ellerkamp, Matt Gee, Jose Milton Vieira, Peter Stainer.
Emircan BİRGÜL successfully completed his master's degree with Peter Körner at Anadolu University State Conservatory in 2022. He is currently working as a trombone player at Ankara State Opera and Ballet Orchestra.
