About the Artist

Madeleine Joel born 1994 in Linz Saxophone studies: Anton Bruckner Private University, Music and Art University of the City of Vienna, Jam Music Lab Private University Awards and honors: Ö1 Jazz Prize 2021 Resident in Vienna since 2017 First major performance as a saxophonist at a young age: MM-Festival (Marianne Mendt Festival in St. Pölten, 2012) Saxophone teacher at two Viennese music schools (Klangwelt & Musikmomente)
Own projects: "Madeleine Joel & The Hildeguards- all or nothing - a tribute to Hildegard Knef", Madeleine Joel Trio "Autobiographic", Madeleine Joel & her buddies, "Vienna meets Tunis- a band project" Debut album (2022 release) "all or nothing" is distributed via Hoanzl and became a bestseller.
Engaged as a singer and saxophonist in national and international projects. Her motto, "Be realistic, try the impossible."
