He was born in Korea in 2003. He first encountered the trumpet at church at the age of 10. After graduating from the elementary school orchestra, he decided to major in trumpet after entering the second year of middle school (at the age of 15). He was trained by Dmitry Lokalenkov. Busan Arts High School and later entered Korea National University of Arts.

Since he was in high school, he has won first place in all student competitions in Korea. He received an honorable mention at the 2020 Ictus International Trumpet Competition, and later studied under Kwanmo Nam and Wansun Kim at Korea National University of Arts. After entering university, he won all the famous domestic competitions.

He also won first place at the 2023 Jeju International Wind Orchestra Competition (judges include Jens Lindemann, Eric Aubier, Giuliano Sommerhalder, and Alex Freund). He received master classes from Gabor Tarkovi, Juergen Ellensohn, and Roman Rindberg and Jeroen Berwaerts and Sergei Nakariakov, Phil Cobb, Brandon Ridenour, and Iskander Ahmadullin.

He gave a recital at Kumho Art Hall, He has experience performing as a trumpet soloist through numerous collaborative performances (Busan Symphony Orchestra, Jeju Symphony Orchestra, etc.) He has also performed as a guest at the KBS Symphony. He is currently a third year student at Korea National University of Arts. He is a young artist at the Kumho Asiana Cultural Foundation.
