Born in Bogotá, Colombia. Since 2013 in Vienna, studying pedagogical studies in classical clarinet and a master’s degree in saxophone popular music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

Here in Austria, she directs two musical projects, La Sonora, a thirteen-piece salsa band that brings together professional musicians from 8 different countries, and the jazz quintet Entre Nos, where traditional Latin American music is mixed with jazz. Laura had the opportunity to share the stage with renowned artists such as Juan Diego Flores, Paquito D’Rivera and Ina Forsman.

In 2020 she was appointed cultural representative of her place of origin Ubaté.
